August 7th, 2009

Today (Friday, August 7) kicks off the Bite of Oregon. This popular annual event held at Waterfront Park in Portland brings together the best food, entertainment and fun that the city has to offer, all in a single weekend.

This first day of the event you can get in for only $5 before 5pm. You can also grab yourself a Bite of Oregon Super Saver Pass which gets you in for all 3 days and runs just $14.

These are some nice discounts to take advantage of. The Super Saver Passes are in limited quantities, so I suggest you get down there early to get them.

I’ll be headed down to The Bite on Saturday myself to shoot some video, take photos and put together an all new page at http://uniquely-portland-oregon.com to replace my present page, http://www.uniquely-portland-oregon.com/bite-of-oregon.html

Covering the 2009 Street of Dreams

August 3rd, 2009

I’m headed into the gorgeous Pearl District of Portland to cover the 2009 Street of Dreams this Wednesday.

This year’s Street of Dreams is the absolute bomb! Why? Past years focused on homes…this year they are highlighting condos. This is really a breath of fresh air and sure to attract a whole new lot of visitors. I’m absolutely thrilled to be promoting it. I’ll be down with my cameras, taking in all the great homes that rise high above the city and then coming back to report it all on the Uniquely Portland Oregon web site.

Keep an eye on my YouTube channel for some great video coverage that will surely make you drool, whether you are in the market or not. I mean, sheesh! All you need is a cool $1 – $4 million to grab yourself one of these hot Pearl comodoties. ;)

Stay tuned, follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/ThePDXGuy, and I’ll let you know when the goods are available.

Lates! ;)

This year, the 2009 winner of “Hell’s Kitchen,” Executive Chef Rahman “Rock” Harper, will be there on the Chef Stage to show why he is one of the best at what he does.

Mark your calendar’s for this fabulous culinary event. I’ll be there myself, shooting video throughout the time, so subscribe to my YouTube channel…I’ll keep you informed and hope to see you there.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Portland, OR — Now visitors can enjoy lovely summer evenings in one of Portland’s most beautiful places—the Portland Japanese Garden. As a new feature of the Garden’s annual Behind the Shoji art show and sale, Sunset at Shoji takes place every Thursday during the art show with the Garden remaining open to the public until 9pm.
